This policy explains how ABC Translation processes personal data collected on abc-office.re, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

Data collected

Through the quote form: name, email, phone, town, details of your request and any documents you choose to attach. By email: the information you send us.

Purposes and legal basis

Answering your quote request and, where applicable, performing the service (pre-contractual steps and contract – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); complying with legal obligations, including accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Recipients

Authorised ABC Translation staff and, where needed for the service, translators, interpreters and partners (notaries, legalization services) bound by confidentiality. Your data is never sold.

Hosting and transfers

The website and email are hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland, a country covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. For some international services, documents may be sent to a partner in the country concerned, with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Requests not followed up: 3 years from last contact. Client files: duration of the relationship, then statutory retention periods. Attached documents are deleted once no longer needed for the service.

This site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Write to info@abc-offices.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
